I'm smitten, and it almost immediately burrowed its way into a small, select, inner circle of the broader collection. Oh – you mean photos?
Ah, well, the thing is that I'm thinking of writing a dedicated post on the watch, so I'd prefer to wait. Also, and honestly, I haven't taken any good dial shots yet.
I think the Seamaster De Ville is the most common double-model watch with many of them double branded. The rarest double-model is probably that Constellation Seamaster...
This is very confusing for someone who doesn't know anything about Omega. I always thought Seamaster and De Ville were different models of watches? So what does it mean when they are labelled both? As a matter of fact, how "Seamaster"'s been used even is totally confusing between dress watches and dive watches. But I don't mean to be hijacking the thread, so is there some sticky thread somewhere which discusses all those basic questions for total newbies who do not own AJTT?
The Seamaster is a long story that perhaps our resident historian @gatorcpa could fill you in with more details.
There's a Tiffany dial seamaster for sale on WUS as well. I don't know the line very well and have no clue if it's legit... http://forums.watchuseek.com/f30/fs...y-co-dial-day-date-14k-automatic-3273522.html
I have one that fits in with my Canadian Military theme, a nice Birks Omega from about 1939. Cheers, Buster
