Up for sale is a nice, original Omega cursive Geneve 14703 ref with a two tone dial and onyx accents and automatic 562 caliber movement. These cursive Geneves are among the coolest and most under-valued vintage Omegas IMO. See below for full info, and feel free to reach out with questions.

Dial: Original, non-refinished dial features an attractive two tone finish and onyx accents on the markers and hands. The dial is in nice overall condition, however there are some marks here and there and there is some subtle discoloration around the 5 and 6 markers that is more or less noticeable depending on the lighting and angle (see video for an accurate representation).

Case: Original 34.5mm stainless steel 14703 reference case is in nice, unpolished condition. Bevels on the bezel and lugs are still sharp. There’s no significant wear on the case.

Crown: Original signed crown.

Crystal: Generic crystal is free of scratches.

Movement: Original 562 caliber automatic movement runs, winds, and sets well. Service history is unknown and there’s some rust that can be seen on a couple of the screws on the movement. A service is recommended prior to regular use. Serial number dates the watch to 1960.

Strap: Comes on the new black 18mm DeBeer leather strap pictured.

Price is $750 (reduced from $850) shipped globally. Bank transfer/Wise (or similar) for payment. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if the watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in the USA.

I can’t believe that no one has purchased this yet. These cursive Geneves are a BITCH to find in good original condition (think pie pan Constellation x 10 difficulty factor), yet they sell for half as much. Plus onyx accents and a caliber 562 from an established OF seller! What are you guys waiting for!?! And yes, I would have purchased this watch if I didn’t already own one.

Thanks for the kind words @gbesq @cineaste @RevZMan123. Still available.

To your first question, I have no idea so won’t speculate. To your second question, the movement has not been serviced or regulated. For more information on the movement caliber, see here. These 55*/56* Omega calibers were great movements.

Bump on me

Totally agree... Very hard to find in good condition with a clean dial, sharp case and correct crown too!
Aside from that, the cursiveness adds an "je ne sais quoi" that makes these models among my favourite ones from Omega.

Got mines already, and it took long so, somebody should treat him/her-self, and have a Christmas gift before Christmas 😀

Phil is a great seller (I’ve bought two off him) and this is a great watch at an even better price. Someone buy this already!
