My experience is that repro #6’s will become an irritation after a short while…but ymmv.

Full length bracelet, looks quite unmolested, some stretch but not too bad.

Maybe little imperfections here but no a major problem

On the pics all flexible links look working, maybe this should be confirmed before buying.

I have 6 repro endlinks on my Ed White which look quite good IMO
With all those repro 6s around its quite a risk to go for 'original' ones

he only concern is that the logo looks a been worn

Bracelet including logo was surley polished in the past

The pics are a bit unclear / overexposed so its difficult to see the exact condition

Why an irritation? Because of the unoriginality?

The fit (no matter how hard they try, they just don’t sit the same, as they are shaped differently), the visual difference (metal would appear to not be exactly the same as the metal used in the vintage bracelets, and the finish was nowhere near the same). Maybe it won’t bother you, but I am a pedant, and it hurt my eyes after a while. I also have not seen any repro 6s that are indistinguishable from original ones. There are not that many details, but there is a stark contrast when you know what to look for.

Edit: that’s all from the perspective of someone who already had an original bracelet+endlinks in the collection. If I hadn’t, and wasn’t such a pedant, it most likely would not have bothered me as much. Regular folk with 0 watch knowledge wouldn’t even look…

Thank you for your reply. I think I will go ahead anyway as the bracelet is an exact match to the watch being 14755-62 produced in february of 1963 according to the extract. I have waited five years to find a 3/62 or 1/63. I will start hunting six endlinks for the next five 😀

Sorry I didn’t, but I would have suggested the same 👍

As previously mentioned the pics are a little lacking. What I see is a bracelet that has been assembled from parts. The stretch links look to be a little distorted from either resizing or being cobbled together. There are marks (pecker tracks) from where the solid links and fixed were manipulated in some manner. It appears the left clasp connecting link is bent. There are inconsistent gaps along the backside of the fixed links as well as an non-smooth transition side profile, from narrow to fat ends. What is the price?
I built a pretty good 1039 very inexpensively, so I know the signs.
