Hello, I have this BOR bracelet and don't really know if it's rare or not? any adice? The clasp closes with a kind of adjustable pin. I never saw taht before.
circa 1956-1959 basically 1st BOR they are kind of rare. perfect for late 50's Seamaster or Ranchero. original endpieces should be blank A full bracelet in these is 19 links I believe.
They are really Nice, they are like an early micro-adjust, I have one on my pie pan. They carry a premium over the regular bor. Very well made too, mine has pretty much no stretch after 60? years.
Put in your drawer and leave it. Number I've seen tend to have a broken button (used to release the slide). Nice bracelet, but a pain. Finicky Sold a near mint one 5 or so years ago. DON
Mine not finicky.. Just made it through rough dinner service tonight, I'm a chef.. Highly resistant to bring banged.. At least mine is.. Button is fine.. It's a winner but could be tougher like most watch parts from the 50's
I actually think it's a really cool design. It's Micro adjustable on the fly. Solves the too loose ,too tight, in the same day syndrome nicely
I was wondering if Omega ever did something like this in the past. Can you post some close-ups of the micro adjust and any identification markings please.
I had done this and it helped. It does not happen as readily, but will release on occasion. My stainless one originally came fitted to a cal. 500 also. The gold filled one functions better. It slides firmly and does not pop open. The stainless steel release button is in the Omega logo and the button is above on the gold filled version.
Hi guys I had no time to com here yesterday. Thanks for your answers. I Wonder if it would fit my bumper connie. I'm still on holidays for a few days and I'll telle you and make you a shot. FIrst of all I have to make it clean.
