I think these 321 Seamasters are beautiful, slightly more understated than its bigger brother.

I came very close to sending a pm about one several months ago but unexpectedly, common sense prevailed and I decided I need to see one in the flesh first. I'm a tall chap with 8" wrists and have a feeling I may not be able to pull it off.

Can I see the inside of the lid of yours? Is it also stamped 315.164?

Beautiful, under appreciated chronograph. "Small" case size makes for a more versatile watch than the Speedy IMO.

Also my first vintage Omega:

Any sense of the value on that one? The response to the price inquiry must have been deleted from the interesting post on that other site.

Is that a 27Chro or a 321 ? Killer!!!

Aren't they the same? I've only seen the 321 in this reference so far.

From what i recall there are only few 4 digit refs hosting cal. 321.

The 27 CHRO C is a pre cal. 321 and is not entirely the same.
Chuck Maddox's website shows a cal. 27 CHRO C for this ref., but i've seen a late 2451-7 with a cal. 321 too so i'm a bit confused, because i did not know it was a transitional ref. A serial # picture would be good to estimate the age.
Even with that wrong set of hands, is a rare piece...

The 320 is a great size too being around 35.5mm and wearing a fair bit bigger due to the pushers

Have you ever seen such a dial for an Omega Seamaster Chrono ?

I have never seen the "De Ville" written on the dial

Fairly common actually - some don't even have seamaster just "De Ville".

Google seems to show a lot of the regular 2451s with both 27CHRO and 321 movements, even a couple with serial# in 15m range, but I've only seen a few Argentinian Airforce 2451s that mentioned caliber 321,not actual pictures of the movement though. Abel's post stated caliber 321 right at the top.
