Yep stunning. Dont believe that the movement has been overhauled as per seller,s claim - no seal installed, and looks a bit dirty to me.

Also, whats happened to the outside retaining ring( ifnthat indded is what its called!) - it looks bent out of shape on some photos?

    cheers, Paul

These are extremely rare and to have one in that condition is amazing. Most that I have seen come up are pretty beat up and parts are hard to get. I would love to know what the offers were that were turned down.

Are we sure it isn't redone with WatchCo parts?

Odd - I see a case back seal installed... And the "bent" piece I believe you are referring to is a wave style spring. This spring is pressed on by the case back, and puts pressure on the enlargement ring to hold everything in place.

    Cheers, Al

Looks good to me. I've seen a couple and the most important thing is the bezel which this one looks good. The replacement one from watchco is all white lettering. This one is pristine but so is the price. If they would be more reasonable in their expectation then I wouldn't mind adding it to the collection.

I know of that dealer. They just let watches sit there forever. Their listings have been there for 6+ months. Don't care to move it as they do most of their business locally.
