Ask any Omega or any vintage timepieces expert, a NOS Omega Ranchero is a SUPER RARE find.
This genuine Omega Ranchero jewel belonged to a relative of mine who has passed away. We have shown it to a few watch enthusiasts and to professional watchmakers here in California and all of them immediately admired its condition! "We have never seen another Ranchero in such an outstanding condition neither in person nor on the Internet", it is in a NOS condition or (very near that condition). My relative was a serious watch collector and he loved Omegas. Before his death he gave away or sold his entire collections except this watch, my guess he kept this Ranchero as a cherished personal jewel due to its outstanding condition. No blemishes or imperfections at all anywhere on the case, a watchmaker confirmed the watch has never been polished "Probably it is a New Old Stock watch". The watch is keeping very accurate time, it is more accurate than my relatively new Rolex! This Omega is ALL genuine Omega end-to-end including the buckle, the current band is probably a genuine Omega strap that replaced a previous strap because leather dried out due to its age (the watch is from the fifties of last century). The watch comes with its very beautiful vintage genuine Omega box ( inner and outer boxes pictured), the widow of my relative is confident that she has the papers of the watch too, she is asking for more time to "dig out", she is "99% sure the paper is somewhere in the house with the matching numbers of the 267 movement" (based on the movement number 166X.. the watch was made in 1958)
The value of this outstanding Ranchero jewel definitely will only increase with the passage of time and in no time!
As I mentioned it is keeping very accurate time, needs nothing READY TO WEAR, but frankly I would prefer not to wear this MUSEUM QUALITY Ranchero on a regular basis, I would rather cherish it and keep it pristine for the next generation to admire.
