A skilled, light case refinish for me too. If you look at the edges of the key slots on the case back they are not quite so crisp and dip slightly into the slot. But, I would say if you really like it it's no big deal as it's been done really well and they are a very nice watch, imo.

I'm far from an expert on Heuer, but strongly believe the case to have been refinished. I would expect the brushed part around the dial to be more fine, and do not believe that a case could be so pristine while the dial and movement show signs of use.

A well done refinish is nothing to be afraid of, in this case if it was refinished it was done to a high quality. If I liked the watch and the price was good I would buy it. What do you gain by passing? Is a better example going to come along soon? Your choice, but don't get hung up on the refinishng issue, it is way overblown imo.

I don’t think the price is amazing, plus it states it’s recently been serviced but the second hand doesn’t sweep smoothly. I could have overlooked this if the rest of the watch was good or the price.

That makes me think it is refinished

Clearly refinished, compare it to one that has not been touched and easy to see that the starburst top surface is too narrow and the polished facets too wide.
