So I happened to visit a local bank where I've got an account to prove I was still alive as they hadn't heard from me in about three years The young guy who handled the ID verification (and incidentally switched my savings account to another, slightly higher interest account) was wearing a watch (d'uh). As we waited for the formalities to be completed, the conversation went something like this:- Me - That's a nice looking watch Him - Thanks, I bought it because I really like the look of it. It's made by Fossil, but I'm thinking of taking it back because it keeps stopping - it might need a new battery or something. But if I shake it a few times it goes again. Maybe something is sticking inside it. Me - Can I see it please? At this point, he takes it off and hands it to me. I can't swear this is the exact model, but it's close As you can imagine, some basic wristwatch 1.01 education was undertaken
Sorry, not sure I understand what the education was. Seems to me an automatic watch would self-wind if the guy led a normally active life. Why was it stopping?
