Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a vintage Seamaster off this site that has had the stem, crown and crystal replaced with Omega parts. I'm wondering how this affects the value as far as resale etc? Thanks

As long as they're the correct parts it doesn't hurt much. Crowns and crystals can be considered normal wear items, like tires and shocks on a classic car. Nice if the originals are still there, but not a deal breaker if replaced.

Good analogy, Dennis, and a redial would be like an Earl Scheib paint job over a bondo'd rust bucket, it's still the car ....but just a faint memory of what it used to be.
