Hi Folks,

I have a 69 Speedmaster and I would like to have the option of wearing it on a Bracelet now and again.

I previously purchased a brand new 1171\1 with 633s but the bracelet really felt extremely flimsy and like a piece of scrap metal, needless to say I no longer have that bracelet.

I have since put out a WTB for some other vintage Speedmaster bracelets and had some offers from some kind members on here...but the prices are just way beyond what I am willing to pay I am afraid ( I do realise that these vintage bracelets are no longer a cheap item ).

Does any one have any experience of a decent aftermarket bracelet for the Speedmaster. Preferably it would have to be in the same style as the vintage bracelets i.e. nothing more modern than a 1171.

P.S. I am not in the position to drop $1000 on a period bracelet so please don't insist that I just purchase the correct item

 

Have you considered a mesh/Milanese bracelet? Can be had quite cheap.

Hi, I do quite like the Milanese but would prefer something that looks like the original bracelet or at the very least an Oyster style.

Got it off eBay about 12 years ago. Can’t remember the seller’s name, sorry.

 

There is non Omega flat link bracelets available for US$325. I have not tried them and I have no connection to the seller. I have seen them on both EBay and Chronotrader. If it helps the seller is an established name and I have dealt with him before.

Hi, I did see those but they do not include end links as far as I can see. According to the seller 633 end links need modified to fit and older end links again add to the cost.
