I'm torn between wanting this to be the exclusive "Bond watch" for the next few films so I am forced to buy one or for it to never be seen on screen again so I can safely resist temptation 😜

I hope that lumed bezel becomes an option for reg seamasters, either in ceramic or in aluminum. Be nice to have an option to swap bezels to really change up the look of my SMP (not that I really expect Omega to let us have more than one bezel insert).

My thoughts are this is the Bond watch to celebrate Craig’s entire run. And I think this particular color scheme will remain unique to this watch. I don’t think we’ll see it again. To me that’s a good reason to have. But 100% there’ll be another to mark the new dudes debut.

I’ll be surprised if we see the Milanese bracelet again considering all the issues and mixed reception.

I think the full lume will become standard on the new gen of Seamasters. It’s appearing on much cheaper options and competitor options. It would be weird for them not to keep pace.
And I think from now on we’ll see a titanium option of some type in each release cycle. The PO and AT both do that and there is a market for it.

There will definitely have a different watch in the next movie, just as there will be a new car and Bond girl 😎

I agree, and that is sadly the problem with Omega as an official product placement sponsor versus the watch just happening to be the one selected for the film. Then again, if we only get a Bond film every 5 years I doubt any model could bridge that gap from Omega since they change so often.

But the 2531.80 love for me is partially due to its incredibly long run (or at least when paired with the 2 extremely similar earlier quartz and later refined versions) all through Brosnan's time and the first Craig film.

Greetings fellow new NTTD owner!
Hope you also have many years of enjoyment with this epic piece.

Congrats to you all. I will admit when it was first released, I was not mad on it at all, and thought it was a bit too Franken, but for some reason, I now really like it. I don't think it will sway me away from my Planet Oceans or my 90s 300, but I can appreciate the love for it now. Enjoy, and it may be the next in line to the PO for being a strap monster.

I bought the NATO as the bracelet just didn't feel right on me and the clasp seemed too deep. I put the watch on a non-omega rubber two piece and it looks great. The NATO itself being a two pass is also a poor fit on me and there is too much excess overlap. I might try a single pass strap and consider 'adjusting' the NTTD NATO. Great watch though.

Crown & Buckles NTTD strap.
When I saw this I knew I had to buy both versions - standard and single pass. I like this better than Omega’s double stripe version.

Thanks. I didn't even realize that this strap exists. It looks good! 👍

Do you guys know why they made the lume different on the minute hand? It’s more green, while the rest of the lume is more blue.

Awesome watch...so much better than the film.

lol I thought the film was the second best Bond film made behind Casino Royale …. But I agree this watch is awesome.
