    This is a 1954 sea master , The back does not have the normal seamaster symbol - is that normal. And what do you think of the dial ? Is it redone?

    As @JimInOz mentioned, caseback is normal, dial has been redone.

    Sorry, I don't have enough Seamasters with/without hippocampusses and related EOTA to be able to provide a qualified and irrefutable answer.

    But I'm workin' on it.
