i will share my experience too about obtaining Snoopy ( which i still didnt get it )

In Where i live, i have the stupidest Omega Boutique in the world. I am a loyal regual Omega custome with great history of purchase , i was promised to get my copy when it was released first which is ( 4-5 years back i beleive ), and every time they say still,….etc.

i knew back then it was little hard due to production, corona ,…etc but i was NO: 1 in the list . I was chasing them like many times every year, till few month back when i was told : i have to but 20000 usd worth watch in order to be qualified to have the snoopy ( which again i have to pay for it ). I laughed loudly till i dropped tears from laugh and said: i have the right to get it at first place when it was reserved for me, and now you are moving me to down in list and to full-fill your greediness ? is this how you deal with a Loyal customer first before regular customer?

and at final : i promised them i will never ever buy from Boutique or any AD in my country.

Very bad in using regular loyal customer.

And now i am happy buying Omega overseas with great type of care and respect.

And i am going to rise this Complain to Omega HQ Swiss too.

tnx

sorry to hear, that sucks.

Given ownership of the OBs varies, some (most?) aren't owned by Swatch Group, so all you can do is let Omega HQ know.

Even in Switzerland the OB flagships are operated by "Time Flagship AG" which is very likely closely associated with Omega given Georges Hayek jr. is or was the President, but I don't believe it's technically owned by Swatch Group.

And, of course, no matter the ownership, there's no guarantee local management will follow policy.

This is really not acceptable if true. By now you should've been allocated one, especially given your purchase history. I think they are just luring you to buy as many watches from them as possible - it is quite naive of them to think that customers won't go to forums/contacts they know around the world to know the reality of the situation. Who knows, after your complaint this particular boutique may shortly allocate one for you - but I agree that you should not give business to them anymore. It certainly leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I’ve got about 60k of history at mine and I’ve never been allocated one. Kinda wild but my AD/boutique is notorious for high purchase requirements (like min 6 figures for an aquanaut).

I refuse to play those games and put up with that nonsense, I just won't do it. If you want a Snoopy just go buy it, they are readily available, just pay the market price. Do not get hung up on the MSRP, remember the 'S' is Suggested. Often the market sets a price at or below MSRP and people are thrilled with that, on some items when demand exceeds supply the market price is higher. So ADs play these games of 'reward watches' based on buying stuff you really don't want, or past buying history. Don't make yourself miserable, if you want a Snoopy buy one and enjoy it. And tell the OB/AD to go pound sand.

So Awful mentality of greediness!. All my purchases for the past long years were love the watches and not cos of their stupid rules of buy/spend more = get wat u want. I never put my self down to this level no matter what. My OB will get their lesson once i complain the dame to HQ Omega 💪🏼

FWIW, Omega CEO is DEFINITELY loudly broadcasting "we're not an arrogant brand"

That said no company, and especially no watch manufacturer, can instantly & dynamically match production to demand ESPECIALLY for special / limited production models.

In the last few years Omega has taken steps to shut down ADs who dump onto the grey market (via serial number tracking) & ADs who play buy-this-to-get-that games INCLUDING OBs!

BUT, it STILL comes down to who owns the OB (Omega or private), and how much risk they're willing to taunt Omega HQ with.
