··@SpeedyBirthYearThis one hurts, but it's for a good cause... (2915-3, 2998-1, something like that, do I need to say more?)... For sale a very good condition Speedmaster Snoopy 310.32.42.50.02.001, which I was fortunate enough to acquire as a first owner in 2021. As much as I love the beautiful silver dial and the playful animation in the back, needs must and vintage calls again. So I am testing the water here. It is a reluctant sale, so don't expect me to bargain on it. If it stays, it stays and I'll be not so secretly relieved.
Please find an assessment of the watch below. I have attempted to be as brutally honest as can be.
The good: Well, it's a very nice and playful modern Speedmaster. Still hard to obtain at retail and this one being an early one, the Snoopy in the subdial is very nicely defined. As new, no major scratches or dents, one tiny dent on the bezel edge. Runs perfectly. Comes almost full set, including all booklets and warranty card (stamped by a UK-based Omega Boutique).
The bad: The tiniest dent in the bezel edge, which I have highlighted in the pictures below. Next to that, some hairline scratches on the sides and case back. Other than minor the points mentioned above, the watch is as new and if I wouldn't mention the signs of wear, you'd be hard pressed to find them! The strap is unworn. I've only tried it on and as I liked the colour combination with the original one more than with others I've tried, I sourced a second one (original, of course) which did take the wear. I'll include both.
The Set: Comes as a full set with manual, (warranty) cards in a nice sleeve, and on an original strap with plenty of life left in it. Next to that, as said, is the (other) original strap which remains practically unworn.
Shipped worldwide, although I would strongly prefer a F2F deal in the Netherlands given the value of this piece and the added benefit of meeting a fellow OF-member in person.
No returns, please ask questions and extra pictures in advance. I am not making a habit out of selling, but I do have some - exclusively positive - references as a seller and buyer on this forum and could share more.
References and Linkedin profile available upon request.
Price: €11350 (excluding shipping and net to me) making this IMHO a very good deal, especially for those located in the EU. The lowest priced on CH24 is priced way higher and doesn't come with this extra strap. Additionally, the list price to date is €11800, if you can get one at list price, that is.
Well, enough said, on to the pictures:
The set (note that the cardboard outer carton is also there):
The tiny dent in the bezel edge (at 61).
