Hi guys I recently fell in love with the look of the omega speedmaster but as i have no interested in owning the 'real moonwatch' i just decided to go for the reduced version which has almost the same look and is cheaper, so i found one on chrono24, it was a trusted member with a real shop in rome (i am italian) thus i decided to buy it When i got it it was an huge disappointment, but now i started to think it is fake The watch was made in 1996, so it might be the 3510 I got no time to put photos now, i will asap but what came immediately to my eyes is that there is no serial number under the speedmaster logo behind the watch, there is nothing written, which makes it fake, my only doubt is: did they put the serial number elsewhere in 1996? Thanks in advance I will put photos later
Watch is real. Pull the caseback off to check the serial is on the movement. I'm not an expert on this model but the ones I've sold they engrave the serial on the brushed circular area on the caseback so it looks to have been polished off.
