I read PE as an antidote to British politics. I took a group of school children to the Houses of Parliament a couple of years ago and upon our return, was going to show them PM's questions, but given the yaa boo playground behaviour (of the politicians, not the children) couldn't bring myself to. Ironic that these are the people saying that schools should ensure better behaviour in class rooms.
Most often, when we talk about humor, we also talk about politics. That's funny, but sometimes it gets irritating. Because the country's problem is not solved just by making fun. There are a lot of issues to be solved. Corruption, for instance, exists in the most developed country like Canada. Do you remember this case? https://calgaryherald.com/news/poli...rek-fildebrandt-wont-be-allowed-back-into-ucp Why are politicians so hungry for money?
