Nothing yet, not a one. Not even an @DaveK lanyard.

I’m looking at my third bicycle of the year though, so there’s always other ways to blow money.

Mmmmmm... Campagnolo!

After reading @RevZMan123’s post I counted up how many watches I’ve purchased in 2022 and just the thought of admitting it publicly was a bit embarrassing. And it’s not even September.

When I owned a Porsche 944 that needed a lot of work I made a folder called "Do Not Total" ... I continue to use this method. 😁

During this recession I've noticed that being poor is like a panacea for obsessive compulsive watch collecting habit... So currently I'm doing a intermittent fast and have not bought a watch in a moth. My last purchase was a 40€ Roamer... Having no money really does wonders!

Did anyone get through the year without buying a watch? I certainly didn't 😁

And 2023 is not looking good - I've already bid on an auction that ends in January... 😡

I think I can safely join the 2022 watch fast at this stage. 2023 is a completely different story though...

Nothing... not a one, not even parts or a strap.

However, I made up for it by dropping a ton on bicycle stuff so its not like I’m ahead.

Mmmmmmmm.... Campagnolo....

just don’t let @DaveK know... he’s kinda sensitive about two wheelers.

I think he may have had a bad experience as a child. So sad.

Nope and 2023 is also not looking so good. Definitely a big year if Ω gets the whip out on their secret basement watchmakers and my 321 finally turns up. 😀

I’m glad I didn’t commit to this. I would have miserably failed… already in Jan 😁. But 2023 will be the biiiig consolidation year (well let’s see).

I was going to ask @Nupero how his fast went, but even reading just every other page I can see, maybe not so well. I was much better this year, only four. Two Seiko GS, a Speedie and a Megasonic. So, reasonably weighted towards the quality end. Did sell a few though

I don’t have anything against bikes, I just can’t figure out how to ride them

@Fritz, this one is available for sale locally if you want me to pick it up for you https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/487614610150918/

Zero purchases for me and that’s two years on the wagon. I simply decided not to buy any more until I could be arsed to sell some. I managed to sell one out of fifteen on the cull list.

I fell ff the wagon (but only slightly). In terms of velocipedes this is fairly normal where I live…. But things do get a bit weirder in January to see in plough Monday…..
