Nivada with Strange Watchcase Back?

    Hi All....So I acquired a Nivada Automatic and Im trying to figure out how to open it up to see movement...the crystal is a glue on... fullsizeoutput_f7.jpeg fullsizeoutput_f9.jpeg fullsizeoutput_fa.jpeg fullsizeoutput_fb.jpeg fullsizeoutput_fc.jpeg have searched and searched and can't find any info on this case...any suggestions?

    Twist off back... there's going to be a specific tool, but a rubber ball night do it.

    Looks like it's had some pretty hard impact...

    Thanks for your reply...yes it has a dent on back case as well as crack in crystal (plastic)...was going to replace that...will get a rubber ball and give it a go.....as I doubt Ill find the tool when I couldn't even find this back pictured anywhere

    So I finally got the back off with ice/heat/ice and rubber ball.. fullsizeoutput_1d59.jpeg fullsizeoutput_1d57.jpeg fullsizeoutput_1d5a.jpeg IMG_5900.JPG such a rewarding ordeal..cleaned up the dial some. need to put second hand back on and stem back in..such fun... thanks for your help!

    High five! Was it marked 18K on the outside?

    Its hard to say...the back had been polished around the outer back case, I could barely make out the word waterproof and the word automatic...but no 18K could I find
