Our former buddy is consistent with his overpricing, isn't he?

For amusement, take a look at the other (very expensive) watch that he currently has for sale. A few nice photos, but how odd that the only one of the case back is a detail shot that shows only a small portion of it.

I agree. The back shot seems vague. Distant. Very polished? Maybe indication of a past engraving or personalised back. But to be honest fair play, a good watch is worth the price someone who wants it will pay. Supply and demand. As Long as skullduggery and dishonesty isn't present. Nice piece. And therein lies the problem.

I sent a message asking for BIN price
And just came to know from Ash.
There goes my chance to get a stepped pie... i think he quoted me around 5500GBP for that one.

IIRC, this one originated from Bulgaria or somewhere near there.

I think he has least 4 ebay seller accounts...::weird::

In the title it says watch is serviced while in the description it says it has not been serviced.

And I agree with Tony regarding the Longines - no full caseback photo is of concern.

And of course no return policy is articulated in these listings.

Also mentions Gerald Genta designed the 2852 which is a bit odd as from Desmond's articles Genta didn't even start working with Omega until the 14900 and its case family in 1960 and I'd imagine the 2852 would have been designed in the early 1950s.

Why doesn't he just auction them off and see what the market bears?
