Interesting how the seller goes into great detail about how he wore the watch for years and it being an automatic...... My guess he is lying about this being a one owner watch....
I also thought those comments were a bit suspicious, as is the rust? around the bottom half of the bezel.
Transitional? Not for me. This is quite toppy at the current bid of $1825. It looks like a 145.022-69 with potential water damage, a non original bracelet, home made end links and in dire need of a service. Its Ebay so you never know where it will end up!

Could be dirt but if you look super close in photo 1 above the 120 the insert appears to be corroded quite badly... It looks like there is a hole?
