Apologies for being an amateur ::book::

Is this band original? How much would you say this watch is worth if it is working properly?

It is not worth the $1100 they have it listed at nor the $1640 they have it appraised at! I would pay $110 and even then it would need to be serviced. It looks like a nice DeVille but the price is too high. The stretch bracelet is not original and should be carefully removed before it scratches up the lugs. Check out the for sale boards here. The Madmen watch in your avatar looks great but read up on redials before you buy a DeVille as Omega never made a Seamaster with a dial like that. Have fun researching this forum be fore you make a purchase and welcome! ( I would post this question in the Vintage section in the future.)

    From the listing description:
" This is a used watch and has extensive face scratches and marks as shown in the pictures. We tried to provide as clear a picture of the face for full disclosure. The date wheel does not work and there is a slight glitch in the hand movement. Otherwise, the watch is in great condition on the inside. 56.1 grams. "

This is a long list of problems. Look for a listing that has photos of the movement because you can't go by "the watch is in great condition on the inside." At this price appraisal the watch should be fully serviced and functioning properly.
