I'm not an expert but I agree the lume appears to have aged evenly on the dial and hands. Looks great! Enjoy it!

The dial appears to be from an earlier model (I believe), but I don't know if there was a transitional period were older dials were put into the newer cases in the 1960's.

I would wait until more veteran members have their input.

    But it all looks great!

    hi

the dial is a 2914 dial and belongs not in this case
what lume test have you done ?
the production date can only be told by movement number and not from clasp
1506 is normally in combination with 16 endlinks but 6ers are a nice add-on:thumbsup:
crown is a later replacement wide feet, it should be a naiad crown or at least narrow feet one.
the shape of the crystal looks strange to me as the original ones have a nice curved dome and no hard angle but this is just cosmetic :)
the caseback with the sharp edge points to a later production period and is in good condition.
the bezel looks correct so far and seems to be in great condition, would be nice if you can do a UV light shot.

i would source a correct dial and crown and replace the crystal and u have a good looking 300

A 2914 dial is for a 28x movement and so it would not fit on the automatic movement... and it is marked Seamaster 300 and not just Seamaster as it is on rare Railmaster/Seamaster versions...

Given that it is most likely a 552 movement inside I think it's most likely a 14755 or transitional 165.014 dial. Never seen one in a 165.024 before, very cool.
