First, I wanted to thank the community on this board for providing a tremendous resource for people interested in Universal Geneve watches.

After admiring Tricompaxes for a long time, I finally pulled the trigger on a Tricompax from the 1940's at an auction. The watch is even more charismatic in person than in pictures; it truly is an amazing watch. The watch I purchased had an issue with the chronograph second hand not always resetting perfectly to zero on the first push of the pusher (it would properly reset after two or three pushes). I would have lived with this, but after about two weeks with the watch, it stopped.

I was wondering if the community on this board had any recommendations for a watch repairman in the New York City area who has worked with Tricompaxes.

(I apologize for not posting pictures as it seems to be the custom/etiquette for this board; I just haven't had enough time yet. I will post pictures soon.)

    Thanks again.
