    Ok
Hi guys I saw this watch on a county auction site . Before I new more about omegas . I took the best photos I could the band barely fit my wrists and the holes were not worn . It was in a box I went to some crapy agency and picked up the watch in alameda county. From reading your guys post I will let you pick it apart I have not taken the back off . I wore it on my drive home . I am guessing it is 2576 342 bumpers I think the lume is shot and no patina . I want to hear it it is all origional no redial perfect example. Man it is a sweet watch I will need a bigger strap runs great . Ok any evaluation will be helpfull I did think dial was to clean lume questionable one of the marker going into the sub dial . But you guys are the pros so have at it
    Thanks

Looks good at first glance. Let's get some better pictures of the dial to be certain. :)

I agree it looks promising. I think there is some sort of SWISS MADE text under the rehaut at the bottom.

I like it, looks unmolested and has the original seller's case. Strap is a replacement and you can easily find one to suit you.

All of the standard cautions: make sure you get it serviced unless you have definite proof of a recent service. Running the movement will cause undue wear and tear.

...and show us some pics of the movement and caseback too please. This might be a great find, though I am not prone to premature congratulations

Yes, it is a screw back. No, I wouldn't try to open myself if I lacked the appropriate tool and some experience.

It’s twin says hi. I’ll see if I can find the service papers I have for my watch with the ref nr. I think it is a 2576. It’s def. a 342.

It looks pretty good and I love the combination of the dial color and the strap - personally I would try to find a similar strap in that color only bigger.
Congratulations with it - plus always cool to have old omega box with it.

If this is your first catch, WELL DONE (I'm assuming you didn't overpay). If you're going to make this a hobby - stay here; read everything you can; ask for advice from the generous experts who frequent the forum. This place is heaven.

I think it is a slightly longer. Also the lume does not glow in the dark.
