As a young boy I admired the quality of the Omega stopwatches that my late father (teacher by profession) brought home before athletic meetings to ensure that they're all functional.

Now, years later, I've taken the plunge and bought my first Omega (pre-owned) watch. A beautiful circa 2009 Seamaster 300m! I absolutely love it!!

I find this looks too much like a Rolex, a nice watch but not my type.

I love that Seamaster. One of my favorite models, although I gravitated to the 600m models for stupid reasons. My Omega obsession has moved on to Speedmasters, but for 10 years it was Seamasters. That bracelet is one of the most comfortable ones I've ever worn, having had it on my first Omega, the 2220.80.00 blue Diver 300m Co-Axial 41mm. It was right after this one that I decided I simply NEEDED 600m of water resistance and bigger/beefier watches.
