Probably because people were fed up of him talking about himself in the third person, it is very irritating.

That dial is correct for Larry's watch serial
That said in Italy (and also in the U.S. according to Mr.Morgan's watches) we call radial dial Mk3 and elongated crown dial Mark 4.

According to Italian table there are only 5 kind dial, but if you consider the RF table that is of course a MK 5.

I hope Orchi is enjoying life in the best of health. I definitely miss his exchanges in the Forums. I am sure he was a quite a collection of pieces.

He was generous in sharing his knowledge. Anytime I emailed him, I could count on a response.

No need to stir the pot..

The link you provide referencing Mk-5 with the short stubble crown was the latest production, also referred as a service dial. Although it came in tritium, luminova, and super luminova. Some call that one as Mk-6.

I don't care to renumber them but understand the sequence..
