Been wanting to get a 2254 back in my collection but thought I would give the Electric Blue a try as it is often an overlooked example that doesn't seem to get much love. Boy I'm glad I did, this thing is radiant when the light hits it! All of the photos and wrist shots just don't do it justice. It's gorgeous in person!

Those look so nice. I really should look more into those. I have no qualms with quartz I just appreciate the mechanical automatic stuff and have a little more confidence in repairs being performed down the road but the hands and the dial are perfect on those. I’m also concerned by the time I finally have the cash together I’ll be priced out as it seems many watches are outperforming bitcoin and such lately. I’m seeing pretty quick jumps in price and the fairly priced ones aren’t waiting around for me. First world problem of course pretty low on Maslow's scale but still not having one could effect my mental health I guess. Enjoy them they look great

The version I have just purchased is automatic, not quartz. The replied post is a quartz version. They look very similar!!
