The rotor on my Timex Marlin Snoopy seems loud too. I don't mind it though.

Wish the new Snoopy wasn't pvd. Would have picked that one up in stainless steel.

Really enjoying the direction of the Marlin series overall I have to say.

What really impresses is the overall level of finish. The hands and dial furniture are perfect. Then that almost enamel looking dial just grabs ambient light and makes Charlie and his kite just jump. I love the very discrete but legible date window. For some reason, I was expecting a silver dial, like the silver Snoopy. This was a pleasant surprise. I really do need to force myself to ignore the Timex (and Baltic) email stream. They just keep the hits coming. Fun with cheap watches in 2019.

Yes Snoopy is on a silver dial and Charlie is on a very enamel like white. I own both and my Peanuts Jones is satisfied. They are great.
