Bought in earlier this morning. I am going to sell it on eBay in a few days for...

or maybe a prize in the 2028 Holiday Photo Contest.

Either way, these have a better probability of appreciation than most Omega LEs. ::stirthepot::

The black PVD on the Snoopy one kills it for me.
Tempting as it was to go fo both, I don’t like PVD either. I went with CB and the Kite.

I love the Snoopy silhouette and red second hand combo; the tiny date window on the CB kind of spoils that one for me. BUT the main reason I won't buy either is nothing to do with aesthetics - I bought the Snoopy WWI Pilot a few months ago and find the loud, 'scrapy' noise the rotor makes maddening to the point that I now rarely wear it. I don't know if this is normal, I've only ever heard it before on those automatic movements found in fake Seamasters, but... caution advised.

I have the same watch and don’t notice the rotor noise. Plus if it bothers you, contact Timex. Unlike purveyors of fake Seamasters, they stand behind their product.

Like why is the rotor so loud? Perhaps it is an anomaly. Member had an issue with the Q and they addressed it.

The watch I’ve owned with the loudest rotor by far was a Patek 5167A. The Marlin is a whisper by comparison.

I'm a fan of the astronaut Snoopy. And I'm glad to see Timex trying to grab some of the limelight

Ive noticed my Snoopy Marlin makes alot of rotor noise similar to what you described as well. I just reached out to Timex to see what can be done.

I had a Magrette that had a Miyota inside and it was a very loud / crunchy movement. I think it may be common in Miyotas

Was going to go for a Snoopy, but I've had nothing but bad luck with contemporary Timex pieces. :/

But if I hear enough good reports, welll.... 😉

Just had an email back from Timex re. rotor noise; they suggest it's because the mechanism is worn out and needs repair. I can't imagine this is the case as it's only a few months old I've only worn it a few times, so just gonna have to live with it I guess! Maybe I'm just noise-sensitive!
