I like a few tag models but this monopoly edition is ridiculous. What's your thoughts?

 

The regular model isn't that nice so at least this one is rather funny.

Well no way I'd buy neither. If I was a kind of rich rapper or something why not.

What’s going on with watches lately

At about £15K each



Can just see it.

I find this make believe scenario offensive

 

Got plenty here take as much as you like.

 

I don't know about Community Chest, but that needs dropped off at the community tip.

 

I looked at Instagram comments expecting some poor feedback but 95% of the commenters love it

 

well,....ultraman is pretty juvenile and that didn't stop omega peeps for paying a premium.

i assume this is geared toward young people and the hip hop crowd. regardless of how tasteful it is or isn't.

Both are done tastefully though. I admire both the snoopy and the ultraman even though I dont care to own them. The monopoly however..... gross.

 

Perhaps.....I find the Snoopy equally baffling despite the history of it, even if it is less in your face design wise.

 

I wouldn’t buy one even with massive discount but its a fun watch

 

I think this is playing to the young IG crowd with loads of cash and possibly limited class/taste. It kinda figures that that crowd may not appreciate a more old fashioned design and prefer something more vibrant and fun. If this floats the boat and they sell it then I guess why not.

It’s not for me however although I expect my 10 year old daughter (going on 18) would love it.

 

What third grader has that kind of money to spend on a watch?
