    The old vintage straps had one thicker loop to hold the excess tail after the buckle. The straps now have 2 loops. 1 fixed and 1 floating. The floating one always ends up out of place up by the watch case. I'm about to just cut it off. Anyone else frustrated with the newer straps?

    Yep I've done the same, drives me mad when you spot the second band half way up the strap!

    It's gone! My trusty edc knife removed that with swift efficiency.

    It can be a pain in the ass. I just started making my own straps. Problem solved

    I often remove the floating loop, I think it's a sign you've got a great fitting strap if you don't need the extra loop.
