Is there Wi-Fi on the moon?

Just had a thought of how ridiculously awesome it would be to wear a speedy, on this strap, while on the moon, and post photos live.

Clearly I have way too much time on my hands today to be thinking of such things.....

This B&R looks like the way it should have been delivered! That looks perfect. Surprising to me...I don't generally like that kind of band, but here, the application looks perfect. Learn sumthin' every day.

Yeah, I'm with you - I think it works really well. Wrist shot on https://omegaforums.net/threads/wruw-today.567/page-2249#post-464552 if you like that kind of thing.

I'll try the same strap on a couple of other watches too, but I think the beige dial of the B&R tones well with the grey/green of the strap :)

Thank you so much for this thread. They look great and I have ordered one. He has done pretty good business

How do you think it would look on a Mk II? I know not "authentic" but looking for something to change the look a little and quite frankly leather just doesn't work for me on that watch

I think it will look good on nearly any sport/tool watch, especially a Speedmaster of course. Plus it's extremely comfortable, the watch stays in one place on your wrist, and it's super light weight.

I'm not so sure it suits a Mk II as well as the B&R - it's pretty tight around the lugs too, which makes it a job to get it on & off. You'd definitely want to try curved spring bars to see if the extra room got better.

I won't be putting it on my Mk II for any length of time, anyway...

The look is interesting. I will give it a go. Thanks for posting those photos. It is destined for my standard Speedy, but you can only try these things

You can indeed, only try these things. When I got my Mk II, the bracelet was too long, so I put it on a blue Toshi leather strap I had kicking around, and it looked pretty good though the colour didn't really match.

I've since ordered a Storm Grey Toshi strap with orange stitching, which should match the face of the racing dial a bit better :)

Awesome, the first appearance of the white strap!! Let me know what you think as you're the first person I've seen with one. Thank you for your service as well.

I really like the look of these but how do they work out in really hot and humid conditions? Do they degrade, cause a lot of friction etc?

Awesome straps, love the authenticity. I went ahead and bought the vintage short version for my -69 ;)

Has anyone tried them with a straight lug speedy? Am interested to get one after seeing this thread, but I think they're meant for 20mm lugs..

There is a little play in the band at the lugs, I think you would have no problem wearing any of them with a straight lug speedy. Plus it's just Velcro, it'll squeeze a little between the lugs if it has to, go for it.

Never really been in to the whole NATO strap thing but thought I would give this a try. Must admit I am pretty impressed. Went for the short version.

Good choice, I went for the short version as well. I think it's much more applicable to most everyday situations and the watch sits a little more snug down on your wrist as well. Looks great!!
