After owning a Speedy '57 which I found to be to large for my 6.5" wrists and having bought and sold 2 daytonas due to poor legibility and lack of date, I'm quite excited to see the latest speedy incarnation in a 38mm.
I've always been envious of the ice blue dial reserved for platinum Rolex's and so was delighted to see that this latest speedy is available in this gorgeous blue that also boasts an automatic coaxial movement c/w date!
To me this seems a great opportunity to purchase an iconic watch, however, I don't know much about the 3330 movement as well as being slightly unsure of the oval subdials.
    What do you guys think?
    Also, any ideas on price?

Personally, don't like the oval subdials for me. Would probably look okay for my wife.

I have the older Valjoux based Speedy date at 39mm and it is the watch that gets the most compliments. That blue dial is killer. Looks like it will be $4,500 to $5,0000 USD.

Check out the older speedy dates. Although the 2 manly color combos on the new ones don't look bad.

    That's my 39/40mm date.

I really like these, especially the blue and gray models. But they need to make the date wheel colors match; it looks very out of place they way it is now.

What's the reference on that 39/40mm Speedy date above? It's great looking.
    TIA
