Really nice example.

I too had an 'as new' 145.022 - 69 a few years back but it didn't come with all the extras that you have.

Yeah, I saw that too. 🙄 I refrained from commenting about not really wanting to see men's feet in the pics because it isn't a sales listing.
Would you feel different had there been some lady's feet in the photo? 😒

Sharing my “new” Speedy 145.022-69, which I believe is 100 percent original and virtually untouched. (Happy to be corrected if there are other opinions.) Never been serviced nor polished, and still has the red dot on the case back. The gasket was a gooey mess, and it’ll be going off for a movement service, although everything is working perfectly and it’s keeping great time. Fully linked 1039/516 bracelet with zero stretch. Original Omega crystal (type A2), but I’ll change it for safety and keep the original. Only wart is slight flaking of the black paint on the DON bezel near the “65.”

The icing was all the original paperwork, manuals and box. It was a one-owner watch that was rarely worn, and then tucked away for decades. The owner passed away and the family sold it. This Speedy was originally purchased at the watch department of the then-famous (and now-defunct) Hudson Department Store in Detroit in July 1971.
Stellar condition! Huge congrats!

Yes, that's the Speedy, but that listing isn't what sold the watch. The guy who acquired it from the original owner's estate separately sent me about a dozen other photos, including detailed shots of all that paperwork, and close-ups of the dial and case. He also sent me a detailed condition report from the watchmaker at the Omega boutique in Detroit who described the watch as virtually NOS.

Not sure why the seller didn't put all the additional photos and information in his eBay listing. I think he would have gotten more interest.

I can't see how you could wear it. I'd be terrified of that fist scratch
