Bought this in Tokyo a few days ago. Never seen anything like it. It's to replace my Seamaster GMT Great White as a daily wearer. Beautiful watch!

Do you have anymore details on the watch? Reference number?

One of those funky, truly limited pieces Omega used to produce for select markets. I think this one was less than 400 pieces? And made around 2010-2011? It’s a unique piece. Just wish they’d left the date off entirely - that really ruins the dial aesthetics for me.

Cool piece! Dial and case makes this a previous gen Railmaster chrono from what I can tell. The addition of a date is interesting, guessing they used a 3313 movement like they did in the old AT chronos (I had both references, so I'm partial to the design).

Anxious to hear the model number. Very interesting color combination. Not seen before.

Sure it is not some Chinese copy....? 😝

Darn that is sweet. 400 made, is that right? If so that is quite a piece to own. When I went to China I thought I’d be able to pick up a nice omega at a good price with the exchange but nope, pretty much the same prices as here. I only looked at a few as trying to run the rmb conversion in my head started to hurt.

2512.54.00
Thanks for that! Here are the details from WatchBase: "The Omega Railmaster ref. 2812.52.37 'China Explorer' features a stainless steel case and a coated nylon fabric strap. Both the luminous bits as well as the stitching on the strap are yellow. Contrary to other Railmaster Chronographs, it is powered by caliber 3313 and does feature a date. It is a limited edition of 351 pieces; 194 of which were fitted with a stainless steel bracelet as reference 2512.54.00."

It's a beautiful watch...I really enjoy the colours on the markers and hands!

Thanks for all the replies and information! I had been looking to buy a Ralimaster Chronometer since I had the regular version and thought it was a beautiful watch. Then, I came across this Omega, looking a lot like a Ralimaster but labelled a Seamaster and I was intrigued. I really like the yellow and red scheme, I find that sort of Chinese. Here is a photo of the back showing that it is 137 of 351. I will post some pics of it with my Railmaster when I get home in a few days

Nice! I'd like to see the nylon strap that it supposedly came with. Mine was billed as in unworn condition and looked like a brand new watch to me (but I didn't get out the loupe). Notice that the one on Ebay comes on a bracelet as well. Very interesting!

That is a very cool watch! What I find so exciting about Omega is that no matter how deep you dig into the models there's always something popping up that I haven't seen before...
There's another one that seems to be in good condition on Chrono24 if you search with the reference number... I'm tempted...;-)

Another one of the rare China Explorers Ref 2512.54 Seamaster chronographs has popped up at eLady Japan. Number 325/351 and on a steel bracelet. Box and papers. Priced at US$ 4,088, but could be had for less if you have an eLady coupon.

Mine cost 4k, so (according to my research) that's a reasonable price. If you do buy, let me know if it has luminous markers. Mine does not. Good luck!
