Based on this... the Ploprof is already out there, I'm thinking the Seamaster 300 might be making a comeback, after the popularity of the Watchco's in modern years

Edit: Released!

I'm thinking regular PO8500 with ceramic orange Bezel...

I would consider the SMP iconic...and would LOOOOVE to see a blue ceramic with 8500 movement and shiny ceramic/liquid metal wave dial...

I just don't think Omega would give us that.... No other 'Icons' in Omega's stable (none that are seaworthy anyway...)

Can't wait! How about PO in black ceramic case, blue dial and thinner in size?

May be a long shot. I am going with a reissue of the thin bezel Seamaster 300.

Based on that, I can only guess it's a watch. Probably a diver. 😜

…..unless Omega is doing the reissue of the original Fifty Fathoms. 😁

Interesting...always a sucker for divers. 2531.80 was my first real watch and I've taken it on many diving adventures!

I read through some of the Facebook comments. One gent said that it is aqua terra GMT diver. I am not an expert but that just does not seem right. I doubt a PLO prof because I don't see a marketing need for that. I think a PO of some magnitude. Oops power outage 30 seconds now back on. At least I got Skyfall in tonight.

Aqua Terra is neither a diver nor iconic though, its a nice watch, but its not a Speedmaster Pro or Seamaster 300

What if its one of the Lemania auto chrono re-issues? The Big Blue Seamaster 120M Chrono or the like?

I'm still thinking Seamaster 300 Diver to compliment the Planet Ocean, SHOM and the boxy models are cool too but they'd appeal to collectors like us more than the general public.
