New Seamaster 300 Heritage: Bezel Misaligned?

Hello!

This beautiful Seamaster 300 Heritage is the newest edition to my collection, it was delivered this week. However, I can't tell if the first line and "10" position on the bezel is misaligned slightly off-center or if I'm just going crazy. Wanted some others' opinions. I took the most direct-facing photo I could to avoid parallax.

Many thanks!

Mine was possibly slightly off center just a bit. But as i clicked it around a bit, it ended up closer. And congrats! I love the watch.

Another heritage owner here, it looks fine to me, but I have noticed that because the markers on the dial are recessed, even the slightest viewing angle when looking at the bezel can make it look like it's out of alignment. Try closing your non-dominant eye, try making sure that you're looking at a head on.

I tend to see this the most with the bezel pip when Shadows are just right, it doesn't bother me anymore though.

Welcome, and congratulations on the watch!

Edit: hmm. Maybe that is off, I zoomed in on your 10 marker and it looks like it's more centered on the one than it is between the one and zero. Maybe take it to a boutique and compare it directly to another model there?

I have 2 Planet Oceans and one of them had the same issue which bothered me, so I bought a new bezel click spring and replaced it myself. The part was like $25, but I'm sure it would have been much cheaper if Omega still sold parts to the public.

If you're under warranty, ask if Omega can replace the bezel click spring for you.

New click spring is more that $25 from Omega...remember prices have moved on considerably since 2015 when Omega stopped selling to the third party resellers. So your $25 on the open market is cheaper than I can buy it right from Omega. Many of the resellers that have genuine parts left, have no idea what the parts cost now, since they lost access to the Extranet when they were cut off, so there are bargains to be had...
