Looks amazing, congrats. I liked the previous gen, blue dial titanium version.

I went with the black as well and I have no regrets. Here are a few pictures of the new Seamaster in it's element.

Nice! I’ve done a few dives with the 2018 Diver, and it performed very well, although I didn’t test it in low-light conditions.

I’m going for the blue I think — going to see it and maybe reserve one this weekend, and then move on a piece or two maybe my SMP Diver — something about this setup really grabs me, and I may put my blue MarineMaster purchase on hold to grab one, even if it’s at (sigh) at retail.

Some more pics

Looking great in the daylight more like an anthracite blue, dark hue, great size/weight/feel, excellent bracelet and clasp, silent motor (thank you Ω, at last!!!) they really improved it over the last generation

That blue looks fantastic. I completely agree on your other points. The bracelet is fantastic. The whole watch is a winner.

I tried the watch on today for the third time and actually preferred the black, personal choice. The first time I seen it I felt it was really bland but the more time I have spent with the watch ( 3 visits now ) the more it pops its a stunningly underrated piece. My only concern is the clasp and the taper seem a little feminine, as in small.

Given that I've bought and sold many Omages, I was growing tired of their watches not having a taper. I can understand the smc300 or po not having it but for a dresser diver, we need a taper.

The new seamaster 300 has a thin bracelet with a taper. It's damn near perfect and it's really comfortable. Vintage inspired with a modern look.

I did find it very comfy, I tend to hang my arm by my side and the watch sat well on the wrist and it faded to hardly feeling it. One advantage of the claps is it is less likely to catch on things being that bit smaller.

didn't see it for real but I'd take the black over the blue, personal choice. nice watches guys, keep them coming.
too bad it doesn't have a date but the dial looks perfect as it is, wether it be black or blue 😉
cheers

I tired both. For me it's the blue one
It's a very nice blue and depending on the lighting sometimes it looks black

That blue seems very matte, I really like it!! is it the photo or does it actually look like that in person?

I wasn't immediately drawn to the blue when reviewing Omega's photos, however, seeing all of these real world pictures has really created an appreciation in me for this color. I'd like to see it in the metal! I have the Omega 300 Spectre, but am very much drawn to the changes made in this latest revision, particularly the more domed crystal which seems to give it a more vintage vibe. I would also love to see the new bronze/gold version. That one pulls at my heart strings the most!

I agree, you can't go wrong with either color. I usually go with black, but that blue looks great too!!

I think I'd go with the titanium 300 for two reasons:
1. I don't own a titanium watch yet
2. I don't think I like the conical crown on the new stainless version

The blue is really nice looking, even though I'm generally a black dial guy.

The live shots in this thread are really snazzy!

I saw them after I posted. It's beautiful, I had the older 300M in black (original) model, but this blue is wow. Congrats!

Black for me. It is a much stronger and classic look for the piece.

Prefer the blue one, so many different tones and aspects, almost never the same watch.

Okay -- well, I held out as long as I could.

I went blue. 😀

Backordered here, but hopefully not too long a wait, unlike the Snoopy, which has been pushed back to 2022.
