I’d have a lot fewer watches. Makes and models posted by others lead me down paths of envy and expenditure

It was the dibs in the early day that cost me alot of money...... Called dibs once and had a PM 5 minutes later 😲

This makes me stop calling dibs forever, I thought it's meaning was first in line in an inheritance.

At least dibs isn’t binding like a foolish low-ball eBay offer that’s accepted...then you realize- oh shit, now I actually have to pay for it.

Looks like he did not even bother reading rules, and he has not 200 posts yet. Not a great way to sell here, but a good way to appear as a jerk.

He must have met the “exception” but hasn’t followed the rules. Yesterday he posted a new sales post with a link to Facebook and that’s it. Followed by another sales post with no description and one image. Both sales posts broke rules... lol

Yeah, he’s been kind of spinning out of control lately- not sure what’s going on. There was a post from a new member if recall hyping the Crepas LE diver- I relied to it as the watch is actually not a new model from them- the post is now gone (as far as I can tell), and we now have the two sales listings for the same watch....hmmmm

I’ve only got one dibs thus far: and it’s one of @Alpha's gorgeous Smiths watches. I intend to be a stand-up honourable chap if it ever leaves his clutches...

Since dibs aren’t binding I call dibs on everything which now gives me right of first refusal. I can’t afford 90% of the stuff sold here anyway but it will be nice that I get to see everything first. I just hope my inbox doesn’t get too overloaded and I slow down people making actual sales but I’ll deal with it.
