Hi, I've just picked this up. Can anyone give me some information on it please? Thanks.

A pretty rough version of that movement too, a previous watchmaker went ham on that one. There are scratches everywhere, and the screws weren't treated with care obviously.

Also, the rotor seems to have gone through a rock tumbling machine. Every example I can find of that movement has the rotor screwed down to that bracket from the top as well, so it isn't clear whether this is an older movement, or had some goofy work done. It IS a different bumper than the ones I've seen (the rest say Omega Watch Co instead of just "Omega".

Should I worry about this? There's also face movement when I pull the crown to set date. Pushing it back in, it takes a few goes to "lock"

Yes, you should worry about that. That looks like it should use case-clamps to hold the movement in place. You have 1 that is "shop made" (and not very nicely), you can see it on the bottom of the bridge holding the automatic-weight-arm-thing. If you look at the older thread of this watch that you pointed out, it appears it had a correct one at that time.

I am guessing you are missing one on the other side. I haven't been able to find any picture with the rotor out of the way, but I'm guessing there should be one under that.

In the end, this watch is turning into more of a basket case. Whichever "watchmaker" got to it between the last thread and selling it to you did some VERY bad things to this movement so far.
