At first I saw it as a little too stark. The oversized markers, the white contrast and dimensions...The more I see it the more I get it though, and must say few watches will be more legible under water.

Looks amazing. Congrats. Every time I see this watch I like it more and more. I just need to keep myself from ever trying one on or I'm sure I'll walk out the door with it. The contrast of the dial is just great.

A downgrade to the original, visually at least. The went full Rolex on that dial litterature and you should never go full Rolex.

Agreed and with the new I house movement, you'll probably pay close to $500 to service it and through the grey dealers they go for about $3800 BNIB. I prefer the 2 line dial with ETA movement.

I've tried it on several times and really like it, but have not pulled the trigger as of yet.

Thank you all! I thought too that the 2 lines were a cleaner look, but the more i stare at it, the more im enjoying the 5 lines too:

Great watch. Love mine. Best lume ever. If I'd have bought this first, would not have bought a seadweller. Very much a tool watch.

And, a really accurate calibre. Mine looses 1s/day. None of my other chronometer rated watches ate that good.
Not sure what sales have been like of this watch. Never seen another on a wrist. And, talking to my local Goldsmiths branch, they have only sold 4 since last August. Most were black.

Does anyone know that the dial and chapter ring are made of? Looks like plastic, but I've never seen it described in a review.

If they do a blue two liner in the future, I'd seriously consider one. They are great modern tool watches.

I thought I wanted a blue one, then realised that the black would go better with more things. And may even wear better at work with a shirt. As for getting wet the picture above at Margate shows it as close as it gets!

Good choice. My first impressions were not high. In fact, it came off plain. However, it has grown on me. I like the date function also.

These are great watches. Mine gets more wrist time than my other watches. Never seen another on someone's else's wrist, which is not a bad thing perhaps. Always wears like a big watch despite being only a 42mm.

I had a quick look at one in Sydney on the weekend.

they're certainly a big 42mm. Unfortunately the blue they've chosen is a terrible colour that doesn't "match" with anything else I've seen. You'd certainly never wear a shirt that colour.

Have discovered a potential fault with my Pelagos.
When it's been in warmish water, the bezel is really hard work to turn. And, nigh on impossible to get the triangle past the 12 0 clock position.
Not sure if it's the water aspect or the temperature that caused the issue.
It returns to normal when dry/on the wrist.

But, useless if swimming/diving in warm water.
This will be off to the AD when back from holiday.
