New Pelagos

Funny, I've been diving with my Pelagos for nearly two years. Zero problems, with the bezel or anything else. The idea that this happens when it's wet is hard to believe. When you say "warm" water, what are you talking about exactly?

First noticed it when in Thailand, in the sea. Not sure how warm it was, but it was similar to a warm bath!
Most recently warn it in a hot tub at 39 degrees C. The bezel felt gritty. And the triangle would not go past the 12o'clock position without considerable force. But, once dry and back on the wrist, all back to normal. Strange. Will try it in some cold water for comparison.
Yes, it's not likely to be the water causing the problem, but would be surprised if it were the near 40 degrees either. After all, it says on my wrist with no problems, and has been in some hookah countries too.

Love the pelagos. I will get one at some point, most probably the first gen-2 liner. i can still find it brand new locally in good prices.
My only concern is how easily the ti bracelet and case scratches. How does yours hold up?
Can you share any pics of the pelagos on anything else than the bracelet? From what i saw till now the bracelet is the way to go.

In my six months of experience, the case and bracelet mark no worse than any other stainless version. And any marks can easily be brushed out with a green scrubbing pad.

Update on my notchy bezel. Placed watch in cold water, same issue as the warm water. So, as bizarre as it seams, my bezel does not respond well to water. It'll be off to the AD when back from my holidays.

Congrats on the new Pelagos! I really love the Pelagos... everything from the adjustable clasp, incredible lume, clear readability, wrist presence, spring loaded perfect fit, and so much more. I'm sure some have a list of faults, but in my book it's really an amazing watch that checks so many boxes.

Trust me, they are a great watch and mine gets a lot of wrist time. Currently mine is back at Rolex SC to fix my bezel issue. Will report back when I get it back.

Update about my Pelagos bezel that got stuck when wet.
Back from Tudor SC on Saturday. Appears to be fixed. No indication from Tudor as to what the issue was though. The click sound when dry sounds different. And better. No idea if it was a manufacturing defect, or just some fluff under the bezel.

Possibly Swiss navel lint?
