No discounts at the boutique my friend. I thinks it's $6700 ( I kind of like the PO a little more) but I would buy that because of the master co axial

Did seeing the sm300 in person override your feelings about the no date issue?

I am very conflicted about that or get the PO. The PO has more definition and the 300 has more bling. It's smaller than 42mm about 40mm I think. Sits flatter than the PO. But the old vintage look kind of turns me to the PO. Then I think about the technology. But the PO is fine I think without being an expert. If someone could make this decision for me that would be awesome.

I doubt if we will see that piece discounted this year. Too many people want it.

Evil thread Charlie. I concur on the SM300, I saw it in person back in June and really thought it was something special, and now sitting at home I'm indifferent about it. I prefer no date, so the no-date Submariner, and the SM300 are in my wheel house. I don't know what to think about the Skywalker... other than its funky, I love the bracelet, but I don't see that on my wrist anytime soon.

Hey boss , I agree but I like the PO a little more but the only draw is the master co axial. Plus the reduction in case diameter makes it look smaller than it really is. 42mm is great on the speedy . Since it sits flat it could be a little bigger. The skywalker is as light as a feather. An acquired taste. Almost like its an omega for a teenager. I like the older version better . The tresor is amazing more of a hamilton look to it. Very conflicted on a third one right now.

Well I disagree with all ya'all. This conversation should be about the Trésor! It's absolutely stunning. Honeycomb dial, 40mm, hand wound, Omega's 8511 running it (8500 sans the rotor), AND 15,000 gauss resistant. It's a man's man dress watch. I like a tool watch as much as anyone here, but the DeVilles get neglected too often

    Great pics, ctime3

i hear you. the looks of the planet ocean just never dazzle me. that's all. i don't know why (maybe i don't like the hands that look like huge cartoon arrows). but it fits the bill on every other count... i'm sure i would learn to love it.

Natick, MA boutique quoted me $6,600. Imo that is a steal compared to a Sub or Panerai Sub.
