    Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting on the forum so forgive me for any classic errors in thread writing. I've recently acquired a vintage Omega Seamaster - the model number is 2849-1. Essentially I'm just looking to get some insight/thoughts into the watch. Any info you can provide would be very useful.

I've attached some images below. They're not the most fantastic quality (blame my iPhone) but hopefully they are good enough.

    Thanks all :)

Welcome to the community! Looks good to me! Try taking pictures in natural light for better pictures. Is this your first vintage watch?

Try focusing on the watch instead of on the freckles. :)

    (It's not your iPhone's fault.)

I was meant to say 'apologies for the over-freckling'...the many problems of being pale.

Looks good, would be nice to see the first pic in better focus and a pic of the crown.

Ultimately, as long as you’re happy with your purchase, then none of our opinions really matter!
