This will be a nice addition to the range for sure. The cal. 3330 will ensure it is priced competitively

Priced at 6600 which comes with bracelet and strap so not a bad deal.

The first Team New Zealand America's Cup I wasn't a big fan of, being that it was similar to an Aqua Terra chronograph but with an upside down piggyback module putting the pushers and crown on opposing sides of the case.

Does Omega abandon eta 7750 entirely and replace it with 33xx for its new chrono line entry model?

It is actually based on the ETA A08.L01 aka Longines L688.2

They added the Si14 Spring, free sprung balance and the co-axial 3 layer into the movement.

It is much more complicated and expensive than the base 7750

The 3330 is also found in the new racing Speedmasters if I am not correct

I believe the 7750 will still be used in the Speedmaster Date pieces

If you have worked on a 7750, and look at the tech guide for the 3330, it's pretty clear that it has a very familiar design. It may be based on the A08.L01, but that is certainly a modification of a 7750 to make it into a column wheel chronograph. It looks way too close to a 7750 base movement to be coincidence.

    Cheers, Al

That is true. The A08.L01 is based off of the 7750 and the Cal 3330 is just adding to that modification even more so with the Co-Axial upgrade.

Now if the 300m diver gets the si14 that would sell like hotcakes of course I am sure the retail price would go above $5K

If I losse, this Tool I am fu.... [IMG] But I can correct the date, with 24 hours hours, doesn´t have a Quick Set Date!

Comes with this Gift as Well, it´s very heavy, but it´s so good and soft to Write! [IMG]

And the Good Things are, We don´t need anymore to spend money to buy a Half-Link because it´s come with two-half-links already Installed![IMG]

So it´s the Caliber Valjoux 7750, but modified I think By Omega but Of Course better, it´s the Caliber 3330, Co-axial, Si14, Column Wheel.
