Has anyone had any experience with this model? I am curious about this newer updated version.

Lots of people on here have one (not me however). What do you want to know?

I see you've just posted three separate threads about watches you've "just got in" is this meant to be some kind of sales listing?

I posted about a gmt master i just got. I was asking questions about a tudor i sent off for servicing, and the new seamaster 300 because i was interested in maybe purchasing down the road. Please read what i posted before jumping to conclusions.

I was curious about the watch itself. I have had a few omegas only one vintage i didn't keep long. I was wondering if it was a comfortable watch, how it wears compared to a sub or the smp.

I got mine a week ago. I love it. It is quite heavy. I bought the leather strap too but have to wait for it to be delivered. I like it's simple old school look. I was put off a bit by the PCL but in the flesh you don't notice the contrast as much as you do in the pictures. I am not sure how it compares to the mentioned watches for fit and comfort sd I have not tried them. The big selling point for me was the simple clean dial.

I tried the Titanium on Titanium model and I was surprised (and a bit turn off) due to how light it felt - almost a cheap feel to it. Its price tag however was nothing cheap! 😲 Is definitely a very photogenic watch! 👍

Nice to look at but the lug to lug length is too much for me. I was really disappointed when I tried it on.

Oh, would that they might make the titanium model with the regular black dial & bezel.... sigh....

I had a great initial response to it in pictures but somehow never managed to like it in person enough to get it. I went a couple of times to the store card in hand and just left once with an Aqua Terra the other time with an explorer 1

It's a nice watch. Never really blew me away though.

However, it seems to be a much more manageable daily wearer than the PO.

Just curious, what makes it a better daily than the PO? Is it due to the thickness or is there another feature that you had in mind?

I think the PO is a better looking watch.

The SM300 dimensions though are more manageable than the PO. It is not nearly as big.

Oh okay. I like the aesthetics of the SM300, but I have never tried it on so I wasn't sure how it felt on the wrist compared to the 42mm PO.

It took me several months to decide between PO and SM300 but in the ended decided I needed a date function

Tried on both many times

SM300 is slimmer and wears smaller.

I am very much hoping that Omega has a new PO in the pipeline that will be more similar to the LMLE.

I get that its a "technical marvel" to have a sapphire caseback and be anti-magnetic to >15,000 gauss, but it just makes the watch too damn thick.

Put the open 6 and 9 back, liquidmetal bezel, solid caseback, throw in the Master Co-Axial or Master Chronometer or whatever new name they come up with next, an adjustable clasp and call it a day.

Not gonna happen

Are you saying that you feel the SM 300 is too thick?

Because the PO isnt anti-magnetic to 15k gauss...

No, the PO is too thick.

Hard not to be when you need a sapphire caseback that can withstand 600m.

Because the PO isnt anti-magnetic to 15k gauss...

And I was saying that the next generation of the PO will be anti-magnetic to 15K Gauss.

I love the look of this watch but never could pull the trigger in person. After seeing pics I wanted it to be classic and understated, but it's thick, big and blingy instead.
