I was wondering if there is an older generation of this watch as watches get a few design changes and its a new model.

The new SM300 version was designed as a direct homage to the very first Seamaster dive watch, the CK2913 model, issued in 1957. Within a few years Omega began changing the design and appearance of the hands, bezel, and other features, and then discontinued the model altogether around 1970, I think. So if you want one of the older ones that look similar to the new, be prepared to pay a lot more than the price of a new one.

As has been posted before, the current Seamaster 300 is a very new model, only been on the market around a year now - so there's no older generation "new" model.

I share your weakness and add a little jealousy to the mix 😉 Show us photos! Make it difficult for me to wait until the spring, when I told myself I'd wait to buy one of these 😁

The watch is on its way! Photos will follow in due course, but not until after Thanksgiving ... Don't worry, you'll be salivating well before Christmas!!

Very very nice! Though I'm in no rush as it's the standard model I'm after 😉

Posted this in a spring bar thread but thought it would be good information if anyone can help here too. 😀

Hello!

I received an Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-axial as a very lovely gift, and it is a great watch! I am enjoying it very much and I have sold off all my other watches because I don't have need of them anymore!

Anyone can help with the dimensions of the spring bars for future reference?

I know that the length of the spring bars is 21mm but I would like to know the dimensions of the end that goes into the lug holes.

What is the depth of the part of the spring bar, past the flange, that goes into the lug hole and what is the diameter of the end of the spring bar? Is it 1.00mm and 0.9mm respectively?

Any information will be much appreciated and very helpful. Thank you!

I'm a sucker for the HOUR bezels, since they can easily be used as a poor-man's-GMT, whereas the typical MINUTE bezels we see on divers have less practical relevance for me.

Come to think of it - it might have to do with the fact that i have about 5 watches with the min. bezel and 0 of the hour bezel. and live on different timezones than the rest of my family ;-)

cheers al

I will be collecting my SM 300 mCoAx next wk from the Omega Boutique Gurney Plaza, Penang Malaysia once the order for the James Bond Nato strap arrives from Kuala Lumpur to replace the controversial PCL bracelet. Cost
USD 4641 / € 4140 + JB Nato US162 / € 145 .Worth every single of my hard earned penny .Blog writers have coined interesting phrases to describe the SM 300 mCoAx
●An Iconic Avantgarde
●Master & Commander
● Sophisticated Techno Tour de Force Retro Vintage Classic
● The Rise of The Renaissance Watches
●"JinUdedokai Ittai "
meaning Owner & Wristwatch As One !
Now this cheesy line i coined myself..
Ha6x!
