Picked up this fine machine 2 days ago. For me, the dial is sublime.

Thanks, it's a Speedy Reduced from 2001ish. Running spot-on, great condition. I've had a love affair with this model since I got into watches. I owned it's cousin the 3511.50 for about a year but never really bonded with it. A lot of folks dislike the Reduced's dial, but for me it's the main attraction. The business is the draw. Also, the smaller size is more comfortable to wear as is the 1469 bracelet.

I had a Pro back in 2010 and I was always kinda luke-warm about how it felt. I'm picky about crowns digging into my hand and the Pro was notorious for this on me.

So I'm happy, fits in nicely with the Rolex and other Omegas since I needed something to compliment my AquaTerra

This may sound odd. But I do favor how you have the hour marker with the actual number. Very cool

Congrats, it's a great watch. I love mine. People say it's "not the real thing" but I see it as a classic in its own right and actually prefer it to the moon watch due to the smaller size.

    Wear it in good health.

    Thanks Base

I'm not too worried about what other people say about it, it's a fine piece

Not sure if it was serviced recently but it's running +3.0sec/day but I'll send it to Omega eventually to get a new history started. So far the power reserve is right where it should be and all seems well.
