New Nato, but a potential problem?

Yeah, so the salesman got it wrong. So I'm going to go back and complain again.

As others have said, you can point out that because the website has both some that are 19-20mm and some that are exact size, you understand how the mistake was made, but it needs to be fixed. If the salesperson tells you that they will not take it back because it has been worn tell them that the only reason you wore it out is because you trusted the salesman's advice that it was 19 to 20 mm and it was right despite your doubts- note: exactly what you said here about trusting the salesman over the website. This was a genuine mistake on the salesman's part and you trusted their expertise.

People make mistakes--- it's a great lesson learned for all parties!

I just looked at the website and it seems that it depends which strap you buy. Some come in 19mm or 20mm, but in some colors it comes in "19-20mm", which is obviously 19mm.

And $170? Wow.

Yes, it definitely depends on what strap you buy. As far as the price is concerned, these ARE more comfortable material then most other options (although fit dependent), but let's be real.. you are paying for the Omega logo on the keeper and clasp.

I hear Vladimir Putin is always complaining about a NATO🫨,apparently it’s uncomfortable……. Perhaps he should also ask for a refund too.

A too small of strap drives me nuts, it's an inexcusable watch faux pas. I would not be happy.

So today I went in, spent a bit of time arguing with them that they'd given me the wrong size of strap etc. Guy had to call his manager, and long story short they're going to replace the strap. I have to go back in about 3 days to do it.

It's really difficult having these conversations because I have to do it all in Chinese, but I got there in the end.

Got my new strap, and I think it looks decent. My only complaint is that thr buckle sits too close to the side of my wrist. Other than that it's a very good strap. Let me know what you think.

What do you mean beefy?
Large. Huge in fact. Just a personal preference but I prefer bracelets or a single pass strap that keeps the watch low and close to the wrist. NATOs add so much height and bulk.

Yeah it's because it's half leather so that makes it thicker than a normal nato.

Yes I see that. So it’s both figuratively and literally beefy. 😁

if you don’t like the position of the buckle, just adjust the watch on the strap to center it better. In your case, move the watch more toward the keepers and buckle.
